Imagine a job where you get to go into amazing, high-end homes, see spectacular views and talk with a wide variety of interesting people. Well, this is the first of many blogs we’ll be doing in the coming months to give our clients and future customers an idea of what we do out in the many Bay Area homes we frequent on a daily basis. Because I’m the Hard Surface Manager, I deal with lots of marble, limestone, travertine, hardwood floors and Satillo tiles.
Having been in this business for many years now, we’ve come across many problems that were not easily solved, but with time and experience, we’ve learned how to handle most everything thrown our way.
This last week, we’ve cleaned and sealed interior and exterior marble, honed travertine, replaced cracked tiles and faux painted, or “stained” satillo tiles to save the owner from having to go through an expensive, messy tear out.
The Soft Surface has cleaned over a hundred rugs, both hand and machine made, silk and cotton, and repaired some worth more than my truck. They face their share of challenges with different materials and rug construction, and we’ll try to keep you posted on those as well.
